The Areski company’s approach is to develop a visual language at the crossroads of several artistic disciplines, through which inanimate objects (diverted elements, transformed materials, etc.) come to life.
Over time, the company’s artistic identity has expanded, moving from the manipulation of objects (contact juggling, puppetry…) to a practice more oriented towards the plastic arts, notably around cut-out paper and animated books.
Through poetic suggestion and reflection, her shows evoke the fragility of beings and materials, and the importance of connecting with others.
Since its creation in 2005, Compagnie Areski has been producing shows for a wide audience, regardless of age or geographical boundaries, and is also involved in socio-cultural activities.
